The Monster of Easter!!! RARRRR!
This is the pumpkin Jacob painted. On the way home, he did its voice saying, "I'm the monster of Easter!!!" We're not really sure where that came from...

The Orchard!
Today we went to the orchard with the B. Family. It was much hotter than normal for the end of September, but we still had a great time.
Thinking I was being super organized, I cleaned out Benjamin's diaper bag before we left... and left out a change of clothing. Whaddayaknow, he pooped through his outfit right away. I was able to save the overalls, but not the onesie, so Benjamin ended up topless today.
Jacob loves picking raspberries.
Benjamin thought it was a little too hot, especially since he had to stay closed in his stroller for most of it. That's what happens when your airhead mom forgets a change of clothing and you're too little to be out in the sun!
My favorite chubby little hand in the world. (Before anyone gets huffy on Jacob's behalf, his hand isn't chubby.)
And the cutest little baby foot.
Just walkin' along, pickin' berries.
Jacob's friend, Abigail. What a cutie! :)
Greg looking handsome and happy.

Jacob looking adorable.
Jacob and Abigail felt the need to "bury" smooshed and rotting apples on the ground.
There were a lot of them.
A finished piece.
A delicious bucket of raspberries. The yellow ones are super tasty!

Jacobisms
Tonight Jacob held up one finger and said, "What does this mean?"
Me: Um, be quiet?
Jake: No. Mom, tell me what it means!
Me: Jake, I don't know what it means. Wait a minute?
Jake: Pretend you're a boy! (pause) A boy with long hair.
Me: Okay....
Jake: What does it mean?
Me: I really don't know. I already guessed.
Jake: It means F-P-N-L-L. That spells, "Listen to the teacher."
He then held up his two index fingers together.
Jake: What does this mean?
Me: I have no idea.
Jake: F-P-L-L-N-I-L-N. That spells, "Be quiet" and "Listen to the teacher."
It appears I have a lot to learn.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jacob wanted to make pancakes for dinner. I said we could.
Jacob: I want to make pancakes now (whining).
Me: You'll have to wait a little bit.
Jacob: You're hurting my feelings, and if my feelings all go away, then I won't believe you guys!
It appears Jacob, too, has a lot to learn.
