A Hodge Podge of Photos
Last week we were trying to get Jacob eat his green beans. Greg said, "I'll race you." Oh, those magic words! Jacob scarfed his green beans down like they were chewy fish (Jacob's name for Swedish Fish - that nasty, red gummy candy). When they finished, Jacob said, "Let's do it again!" and ate four more. He kept doing this over and over again... and then started gagging. We asked if he was full. He nodded. "Um, Jake? You have to stop eating if you're full." "Oh, okay."

Teeth!
On Monday night, I felt teeth in Benjamin's mouth! They haven't really surfaced yet, but his bottom two teeth are about to come in. (You can feel it if his gums push back a little.) Cute! :)

The Weekend in Photos
We had a pretty good weekend. We got a lot done around the house. We're currently trying to rearrange and make more room. We did a bunch of rearranging, but there's still a lot left to do! The house still looks a bit like a disaster area.
Benjamin and his eyelashes. I have the shortest eyelashes in the house, and that's even with mascara.

Oh, Snap!
Jacob has been trying to snap for a very long time. Greg has been showing him how. I cannot snap. On Thursday night, Jacob did it!
Jacob: Mom, look! (demonstrates snapping)
Me: Wow, Jake! I'm so proud of you!
Jacob: Now you try.
Me: Um, okay. (tries)
Jacob: No, Mom. You have to push your fingers together really hard, like this. (demonstrates)
Me: Okay. (tries again)
Jacob: Mom, your finger has to hit on your hand right here. (points to the spot on his palm by his thumb)
Me: I see. (tries AGAIN)
Jacob: Here -- Let me help you. (moves my fingers in place and tries to make them work)
Jacob: Why is it not working?

John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmitt
You know the song, "John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmitt"? I remember singing it in Girl Scouts. Jacob's version is called, "John Jacob Jingle Irishman." Hee hee.
Curly Hair
Hayden and Lindsey S. go to school with Jacob (their dad works with Greg). Both kids have gorgeous blonde curls. On Friday, Jacob told Greg, "Lindsey looks just like her mom. They both have circle hair!" :) Cute!
