A Run Down on Shapes and Colors
(From my journal to Jacob)
Last night your dad said, "Dang!" You repeated it and then said, "Oh my gosh!" It was pretty funny. "Vanilla" is "bwawiwa." :) You know red, green, blue, white, black, and brown for sure. Yellow confuses you. You know heart, circle, triangle, crescent, octagon, diamond, and oval for sure. Square and rectangle sometimes confuse you.
You love anything that's upside down. You like to pretend to fall down, even in your carseat (you just lean over and say, "Jakey fell down!").
You sometimes go on the potty. I've heard you talking to yourself saying, "go potty, get candy!" Elevators are "alligators." Kisses make any boo boos better.
You answer "Okay" to everything and make it sound like it was our idea. ("Get cookie?" "You want a cookie?" "Okay.")
You have to do everything by yourself -- climb into your carseat, buckle, garage doors, lights on/off, etc. At bed time, you like to play "foot in air." Your leg looks so tiny!
