The Weekend Menu!

I'm posting multiple blogs for the weekend... it's been busy, and I'm a little camera-happy. The last week has been rather busy -- Greg left for Altoona, PA on Tuesday morning and George Bob came in Tuesday afternoon to help out with the kids. (Yeah, my mom is awesome, I know!)

Tuesday and Wednesday night, my mom made dinner for us at home. Thursday night, however, we went out to dinner at Stir Crazy. It is DELICIOUS!!! Jacob loved watching the wok masters cook his food.

Here's a summary of the postings:

Fun with George Bob. I had Friday off of work, so we had a big day!

Jacob's Birthday: Part III

We had to do Jacob's cake one day late because he was a little sick on Saturday. We didn't think his tummy could handle all of the richness of cake.

Here's the cake he chose:
Taking a big breath...
And blowing those candles out!
Here's his monster-sized piece. He wanted one with a big, frosting rose on it.
Laughing at Dad.
This is why Jacob was laughing:
Poppa being silly. We had photos of Auntie Anne and George Bob, but they didn't turn out very well. I don't think the flash went off.
Hats, Jacob style.

Benjamin's First Cereal!

Benjamin had his first rice cereal today. He took it like a champ! He was a little puzzled, and only wanted maybe 10 tiny little bites, but he did it! One of Benjamin's bites. So tiny and cute!

Random Photo: A Funny Photo of My Dad

Birthday: Part II

Jacob was watching a movie and Benjamin was sitting on the couch with me watching Jacob. He was trying to get his attention by raising his eyebrows and flailing his arms. No response. He then started babbling at Jacob. No response. I finally brought him over to be next to Jacob. Big smiles.
Jacob opening Aunt Sarah's present. When she got here, he said, "It was so nice of you to bring me a present!" He makes me smile.... so sweet. Playing hide-and-go-seek.
Auntie Anne and Ben.
Looking for Dad during hide-and-seek. (Greg's under the blanket.)
Opening presents. Planes and helicopters were the name of the game tonight!
A plane!
A helicopter! Uncle Ben gave him the same one we did. We offered to return one for something else, but he wants to keep both. What's better than one helicopter? TWO!!!
Ooooooo.... George Bob and Poppa are awesome.
Baby B was pretty impressed.
To infinity and beyond!
Auntie Anne gave Jacob an awesome play-doh set. I know what we're doing tomorrow!
This is what happened when I told him to "look cool." He's wearing his new polar fleece. Reading cards.
Jacob and his fleet.
By the way, the Jump-a-Roo is the airport.
Some of the deliciousness from the evening. Yep, you are looking at crazy bread from Little Caesars, and crab rangoon and egg rolls from Egg Roll King.
Papa John's pizza.
One big wreck!
Delicious toffee from Trader Joe's.
Auntie Anne rocking out.
Jacob playing Rock Band.
Jacob's first treat from the ice cream truck. George Bob did it.

Ben is Four Months Old!

His hand is fascinating.

Dad is hilarious!

The Race!

Jake told Greg he wanted to race home.
And he's off!
Speedy.
Come on, Dad! You have to run, too!!!

And the view behind me.... Mom was trying to run my Dad off the sidewalk.
