Jacob's school called today and said he had been running around after lunch, threw up, and felt a little warm. What kid doesn't feel warm after running around? It's also pretty common to throw up after running around right after lunch.
ANYWAY... it was actually a good thing that we had to take him to the doctor. It turns out Jacob has a touch of bronchitis. We have a prescription for an antiobiotic that the doctor says might work, but he didn't seem overly concerned. So, I'm glad we had to go, but it was initially a silly reason.
And, Dr. J said he is definitely not contagious.
Sidenote: Jacob loves going to the doctor because when Dr. J is examining his ears, he makes little noises like kittens, bats, etc. and says he sees them in Jacob's ears. Jacob then giggles and it's soooooo cute. Two other reasons to love Dr. J -- stickers and a BUBBLE machine.
