St. Louis Part 3
Day 3, (actually day 4, day 1 Auntie Anne and Uncle Ben took Jacob to "How to Train Your Dragon") Jacob and U. Ben went to the Magic House. Before they left Jake wanted Unc Ben to do his hair like his uncle. We're all amazed at how much Jacob looks like Uncle Ben in the picture sitting on the stool in the kitchen. The smug picture on the stairs is a preview of the teenage years.
Jacob and Ben in St. Louis Part 2
Uncle Ben and Jake went to the Science Center on Tuesday while Benjamin stayed home with Geornge Bob and Papa. We think there might have been some child labor laws broken as Ben worked on the deck. He was so cute, he took his work seriously and scrubbed for a good 20 minutes. Although there was bleach in the background not to worry he didn't use any.
The boys in St. Louis
Papa, Geornge Bob, Auntie Anne and Uncle Ben are entertaining the boys this week. The grandparents are remembering why you have children when you're young. Jacob is spending afternoons with Uncle Ben exploring fun places for five year olds. Monday the four adults went to the City Museum. It's a wonderful place for crawling, climbing and sliding. It appears to have been designed by a mad artist. What makes it even better is that it uses recycled material.
Uncle Ben climbed through the tunnels and cages keeping up with Jake. Benjamin was overwhelmed with the noise and sights until we found his spot - wooden blocks. Uncle Ben and Jake even went down a 10 story spiral slide. The heights bothered Uncle Ben but Jake didn't even notice that he was 4 stories above the ground.

The Tooth Fairy Visits
Jacob lost his first tooth on Monday! He has all sorts of theories about how the tooth fairy gets the teeth. I heard something about magic shrinking lasers...
And one of the little stinker. :)

Family Time in the Wood
Benjamin enjoyed using his hockey stick to hit sweet gumballs off of the deck at George Bob and Papa's house.

Ben teaching Benjamin how to hockey fight. Jacob had a lesson before that, but I think I was laughing too hard to take photos. Benjamin decided to use the "go boneless" defense.

A sweet gumball fight.
Jacob "accidentally" hit Benjamin the mouth with his hockey stick. He didn't see him there. It's hard to see when you're trying very hard not to look. Benjamin got a fat lip, cried for a minute, and then became irritated when we tried to hold ice on it because he wanted to go back outside and play hockey.

Cute Auntie Anne.
Running around at by Bar Louie.
Uncle Ben gave Jacob a sword, toy gun, and toy handcuffs to play with. Jacob said he was a police officer. Uncle Ben wanted to know when the police became the calvary.

Family Wii time. Everyone played Just Dance. It was actually George Bob, Papa, Auntie Anne, Greg, and Jacob and Benjamin, but I didn't know if the others would want me to post them dancing. Payback would be a b- um, payback would be unpleasant.
Delicious crab rangoon from Panda. Yum.
Jacob's freaky fingers.
