Yesterday we were at the pumpkin patch and they had some kids basically doing karaoke. I asked Jacob if he wanted to go up there and sing. He was eating a corn dog at the time and very casually said, "No, I don't know the words to that song. If they do a song I know, I'll go sing. Then I'll be a rock star."

Jacob: Benjamin laughs like this (demonstrates a sound kind of like, "Eh-heh, eh-heh, e-heh."). It just breaks me up!

Open Sesame!
I remember giggling in the car when we were little as we'd approach the garage and my dad would say, "Open Sesame!" in a very dramatic voice. Magically, the door would open.
Tonight in the car, Jacob told us, " George Bob and Papa's car windows go down when you say, 'Open sesame.'" We said, "Really?" Jacob said, "Yes. You say it and all of the windows go down! It's magic!"
:) So cute.

Visiting Pumpkin

Today we visited Pumpkin, who used to be one of our pets. She now lives with someone from work, and she is MUCH happier there, mainly because she's not with our mean cat.
Jacob has been talking about Pumpkin a lot lately and talks about how she was always nice to him. I was a little afraid that he'd end up throwing a fit when we left and say he wanted to take her with us. Luckily, he just wants to go visit her often.
She really is a cute cat.

Socks!
I might have mentioned in an earlier post that Jacob LOVES "stripey" socks. This morning he discovered that he has two pairs of the same sock. While we were out running around today, he told me that he'd put both pairs on... so two socks on each foot. :) I mean, what else could he do? He had no choice.... two pairs of the same sock, people! He ended the night with four socks on one foot. You'll see some photos of him flipping around with Greg. Note that one foot is bare and one foot has what appears to be one sock (but is actually a glob of four socks) on the other foot.
