What Ya Doing, Sienna?

(From my journal to Jacob)

You are afraid of the smoke detectors. You've been afraid of something down the hallway for a long time. We finally figured it out tonight. We kept telling you it was good and okay. You'd repeat that, but it was obvious that you didn't believe us.

You also won't go into your closet anymore.

Sienna and Keaton (and Uncle Daniel and Aunt Heidi) were over tonight. We were all eating and Sienna was on the floor alone. You went over to her, gently put your hand on her back, leaned down to face her, and said, "What ya doing, Sienna?" and you kept leaning down to her to talk, always putting your hand gently on her back. You brought her toys closer to her, too. It was so sweet. Your dad said you really need a sibling. :)

You say "check diaper" when you're about to poop. You still try not to.
