Pumpkins

Jacob's pumpkin. He did it all by himself. It's a ghost pumpkin!

Crazy Hair Day!

Wednesday was Crazy Hair Day at school. Jacob was excited.

He did want it to stick up a little more, though.

Jacob on Downtown

Jacob: (talking about downtown) That's where all the big places belong! It has places that are even bigger than George Bob and Papa's house! There are hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of windows!

The Pumpkin Patch!

Yesterday we went to the pumpkin patch. The photos pulled up out of order and I'm way too lazy, er, busy, to fix them.

Here's the concession stand with yummy cheese fries, funnel cake, and corn dogs.
This is Jacob once he finally decided the pumpkin eating dinosaur was cool.
This is Jacob looking pretty skeptical while watching the pumpkin eating dinosaur.

Jacob in the bouncy house. It seems to be a required element of all kids' places now.
The approaching tractor to take us on a hayride.
Proof that Benjamin was there. He was asleep in his stroller for most of it, and about halfway through, Aunt Sarah took him to the car with her -- it was very cold out!

Jacob's pumpkin mask.

It's a blurry photo, but here's how much mud we ended up with on our feet. Greg said with every step he took, his foot got heavier and heavier.

Jacobisms - Benjamin's Laugh and Singing

Yesterday we were at the pumpkin patch and they had some kids basically doing karaoke. I asked Jacob if he wanted to go up there and sing. He was eating a corn dog at the time and very casually said, "No, I don't know the words to that song. If they do a song I know, I'll go sing. Then I'll be a rock star."

Jacob: Benjamin laughs like this (demonstrates a sound kind of like, "Eh-heh, eh-heh, e-heh."). It just breaks me up!

Open Sesame!

I remember giggling in the car when we were little as we'd approach the garage and my dad would say, "Open Sesame!" in a very dramatic voice. Magically, the door would open.

Tonight in the car, Jacob told us, " George Bob and Papa's car windows go down when you say, 'Open sesame.'" We said, "Really?" Jacob said, "Yes. You say it and all of the windows go down! It's magic!"

:) So cute.
